Treasury Accountant

Allen Lane are currently supporting a London Council with the recruitment of an experienced Treasury Accountant to join their team on a 6-month interim basis. This role will play a pivotal role in managing cash flow, lending, and borrowing activities while mitigating financial risks in line with the treasury management strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support with the management of cash flow, lending, and borrowing activities, ensuring alignment with the treasury management strategy.
• Support the with Treasury reporting (monthly, mid-year, and annual).
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including financial brokers, bankers and fund managers
• Manage year-end reporting, ensuring accurate reconciliation and the preparation of notes to the accounts.
• Contribute effectively to the audit process, preparing working papers and addressing audit queries.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong background in treasury management, financial reporting, and compliance. 
• in-depth knowledge of accounting procedures and financial regulations.
