Deputy Chief Finance Officer (Deputy S151)
Salary:
up to £105,219 (market supplement available for an outstanding candidate)

The largest of its kind in the country, South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership is made up of South Holland District Council, Boston Borough Council and East Lindsey District Council, with around 1,000 members of staff and 122 Elected Members, serving over 300,000 residents across 1,112 square miles.

Our Partnership is now in its third year and our track record of success speaks for itself. Much has been achieved by our Councils, collectively and individually, with a proud focus on improving the quality of life for our local people. We are  immensely proud of our financial management to date, and our successes in securing external funding shows the passion and ambition held by our respective Councils. Whilst there are challenges ahead for the sector, we believe we have laid the foundations to ensure that we continue to deliver for our collective residents, businesses and visitors.

Due to the promotion of the previous postholder to PSPSL Ltd. (SELCP’s Teckal company), we are now seeking our next Deputy Chief Finance Officer (Deputy S151). Forming part of our Joint Corporate Management Team (CMT), you will work closely with Christine Marshall, Deputy Chief Executive, Corporate Development & S151 Officer to oversee all aspects of Corporate Finance, including supporting the delivery of our approved Annual Delivery and Transformation Plans, as part of our Sub-Regional Strategy.

You will be a suitably qualified, public sector finance leader who shares our passion for robust financial planning, clear strategy and high performance. This role requires the right person to bring an inherent ability to engage people, not only across all levels of our organisations but with external colleagues across the locality and in a wider regional and national context. Possessing a collaborative and creative mindset, you will share our aspirations for the people  of South and East Lincolnshire, with a commitment to ensuring that our ambitions are realised and delivered well.

We know that our biggest strength comes from our people, and we are excited for you to join us.

We also understand the importance of an effective work-life balance, therefore we offer an excellent benefit package, alongside hybrid working arrangements managed effectively around business need.
