Interim Capital Accountant

Ambient People is working with a local authority to recruit an interim Capital Accountant. As year-end is soon approaching, ensuring the statement of accounts are completed accurately will be a key element of the role.

The successful candidate will be technically strong with a good understanding of capital financing, the fixed asset register and IFRS16. You will be proactive with strong attention to detail, as well as having previous demonstrable capital accounting experience, ideally in another local authority or public sector organisation.

A hybrid of one day per week is preferred but applications to work remotely will also be seriously considered.
