Key Responsibilities:
Financial Statements: Take charge of preparing and completing all group financial statements, including primary statements, accounting policies, and notes to the accounts.
Strategic Support: Assist in developing financial plans that align with corporate and service strategies.
Committee Reporting: Help prepare financial papers and strategies for Cabinet and other committee meetings.
Budget Management: Deliver high-quality financial information, collaborating with budget holders to ensure smooth delivery of the annual budget.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with budget holders and key stakeholders to ensure accurate accruals and consistent reporting.
Medium-Term Financial Planning: Assist with gathering and analyzing information to support the coordination of the Group’s Medium-Term Financial Plan and Capital Programme.
Director Support: Provide essential financial management support to Directors, including overseeing budget management.
