A Local Authority currently have a need for an Interim Finance Business Partner with extensive knowledge of HRA.

The role will involve overseeing financial strategies to ensure sustainable investments in housing and estates, supporting budget planning, and providing financial advice to senior stakeholders.

You will lead the preparation of the Housing Revenue Account (HRA) annual statement of accounts and notes,while managing the annual housing rent setting process and conducting reviews of tenants' service charges to ensure fairness and affordability

Develop and maintaining financial models for rent setting, service charge reviews, and the HRA Business Plan to support strategic decision-making

Supporting the council's financial strategy by contributing to the preparation of HRA budgets for the MTFS review

Have extensive experience  in supporting the preparation of HRA budgets for the council's annual MTFS

Be able to provide robust and clear financial advice to senior stakeholders, presenting information on all financial matters relating to the HRA.
