Interim Finance Manager - Financial Planning

Ambient People is working with a local authority to recruit an interim Finance Manager to play a key role in the production of their annual budget and Medium Term Financial Strategy.

This will involve forecasting and modelling on current and future income streams to interpret the impact of changes in policy or legislation. You will need to have advanced Excel skills, along with strong attention to detail, as you compile and produce accurate data for reports that will aid decision-making across the council. An excellent knowledge of local government funding is required, so previous experience in a similar role would be highly desirable.
