We have recently restructured our Finance function to increase resource capability, ensuring we have the right talent in place to navigate the challenging times faced by all local authorities. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Head of Finance leader to join us and enable us to realise our ambitious service provision plans.

Place

Provides Finance expertise to Barking and Dagenham and to its subsidiaries, wholly owned companies and other organisations including but not limited to Be First, Barking and Dagenham Trading Partnership and Reside.

• Report to the Director of Financial Services (Deputy S151).
• Being a member of the Finance Management Team
• Responsible for Housing Revenue Accounts (HRA) rent and budget setting
• 1-5 direct reports and responsible for a team of between 5-15

You’ll have a good working knowledge of finance related to housing and regeneration projects and have the drive, determination and resilience to deliver our goals.
