Interim Principal Accountant - Corporate Services

Ambient People is working with a local authority to recruit an interim Principal Accountant to provide finance support across their Corporate Services (e.g. IT, Comms and Legal Services).

This position requires a qualified or part-qualified Accountant with a personable approach, able to gain buy-in quickly with budget holders to both support and challenge them. Alongside those communication skills, having excellent attention to detail and good Excel skills will be key. Previous experience providing budget monitoring support across any local authority service or similar would be beneficial.

This organisation works on a hybrid working pattern.
