Interim Closedown Accountant

This authority is looking for a strong technical accountant for accounts closedown and audit.

They will require:

• an experienced accountant who can hit the ground running.
• They are aiming to get their 2022/23 audit completed (need to process audit adjustments and update the accounts) and in the process of closing down of their 2023/ 24 accounts.
• The ideal candidate needs to be able to put together the accounts, review the notes, do the quality checks for consistency, and make sure they are compliant with the Code.
• A team player but also someone who can be self-reliant

This position will report directly to the Chief Accountant. The assignment will be an initial 3 – 6 months, 1 day a week in the office.
