Permanent, Full time, 37 hours per week

As a result of internal promotion of the previous postholder, we are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative finance professional to join the Adults, Public Health & Housing Finance Team.  The role will provide finance business partnering support to stakeholders in the Housing Service and to Finance team members.

A proven track record of understanding and presenting complex financial information to managers and staff is essential.  You will have substantial experience of working in a finance or audit role including operating or auditing computerised or manual financial systems. You will have excellent staff management experience.  Specific work areas include budget setting and budget monitoring, business planning, final accounts close-down and support and technical advice to budget holders.

Until 31st March 2026 employees paid at Band D and above are subject to a temporary pay reduction of 1.15% spread out by means of a monthly deduction from each pay period over the full financial year. In recognition of implementing this temporary measure, those who experience a pay reduction will be awarded three additional days leave (pro rata for part-time).
