Job Details
Ivy Rock Partners are supporting a Unitary Council to recruit a Head of Finance for a 6 month contract, the successful candidate will report directly into the Director of Finance Business Partnering and will take responsibility for leading the business partnering function across Adults social care.
You will lead on the budget setting, budget monitoring and budget forecasting process for the directorate there is a particular focus on cost savings and Financial modelling. You will line manage a team of finance business partners and will take responsibility for motivating the team in a changing environment to demonstrate continuous improvement
The successful candidate will work closely with the service leadership team, and members, to aid decision making and also be a trusted ally helping develop, challenge and support service plans and project delivery
As an effective leader, you will have the ability to motivate the team in a changing environment to demonstrate continuous improvement
You will be an experienced and professional CCAB or CIMA qualified accountant with relevant post qualification experience and evidence of continuous professional development. You will be able to demonstrate a substantial track record of providing successful leadership, financial management and advice at a senior level across a local Authority.
