37 Hours per week but applications for part time hours would be considered.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Finance Business Partner team at this District Council, located in beautiful South Hampshire.

The Council has been adopting system thinking principles into the way it works and this has had a big effect on how we deliver our financial services.

We therefore see our qualified accountants as valued partners working alongside services to help deliver what matters to their customers.

About You

We are looking for somebody who not only has the required technical accounting, IT and analytical skills but who also has a desire to be part of the decision-making process by building effective working relationships and using their financial acumen to provide effective support, advice and challenge.

You will be CCAB (or equivalent) qualified(or working towards final qualification) with experience of budget setting, budget monitoring and forecasting with some knowledge of the structure of local government accounts.
Experience in Project Delivery would be an advantage but it is not essential.
