The Finance Manager role presents an exciting opportunity to join the finance department and help provide outstanding strategic financial advice and support across Adults Social Care. The role will be an integral part of the finance management team, providing high quality financial insight to enable efficient delivery of services across the Council.

As well as leading a team, you will be engaging with senior stakeholders across the service to identify efficiencies, maximise value for money and ensure a high quality of provision to service users. The role will also be involved with driving innovation to improve service delivery.

To be suitable for the role you need to be a qualified accountant or equivalent with previous experience of providing a business partnering service to stakeholders, ideally within a Social Care or Health setting. The ability to explain complex financial information to non-finance stakeholder is essential, as is experience of influencing and challenging stakeholders.

Hertfordshire County Council offers hybrid working.
