MLC Partners are delighted to be working in partnership with a high-profile London NHS Trust on a new Finance Business Partner role. The organisation employs over 9,000 people who work or volunteer across London to respond to the health needs of over eight million people who live, work and travel in the capital. They work closely with NHS partners and are commissioned by 5 Integrated Care Groups and NHS England for their specialist services. They work alongside London’s hospital, mental health and specialist trusts, as well as the five ICBs across Greater London.

The organisation is looking for a seasoned financial expert who will develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Trust business areas, including their financial and performance drivers. The successful candidate will act as a strategic advisor, supporting business area Directors and Managers in achieving Trust strategic objectives cost-effectively. Your expertise will be crucial in providing guidance on financial systems, governance structures, and constraints, ensuring accurate financial reporting and alignment with business plans. Your role will extend beyond traditional financial planning, requiring critical analysis of complex data to generate solutions and influence decision-making.

The Finance Business Partner will play a key role in leading and monitoring progress on Cost Improvement Programme Projects and business change initiatives. Your ability to influence, persuade, and negotiate will be essential in presenting complex information and driving acceptance of proposals. Additionally, you'll mentor Finance Managers ensuring high-quality financial and non-financial reporting. Your expertise will be instrumental in income and expenditure contract negotiations and representing the Finance Department in key meetings.
