Interim Finance Manager

Ambient People is working with a local authority to recruit an interim Finance Manager to improve the performance of the finance team in providing financial support and analysis to the council’s Children’s Social Care and Education department.

This CCAB qualified/part-qualified Accountant or equivalent will need to have strong attention to detail to ensure accurate reporting. They will also need good communication and influencing skills, managing expectations of budget managers effectively. It also requires a professional and motivated approach, bringing through your passion to improve and care for the service.

Having previous experience of supporting Education, Childrens Social Care or similar within a local government setting is highly desirable and will make your application stand out but it is not essential.
