Interim Head of Financial Planning

Interim Head of Financial Planning required for my client a Local Authority based in the North West.  Reporting to the Deputy S151, you will be responsible for reviewing and updating financial planning processes and procedures to ensure they are robust and appropriate.  Ensuring core financial systems are being effectively managed, implementing controls and process as required. Ensuring timely and effective reporting to Central Government and others.  Support planning and accounting for the Collection Fund and associated local taxation. Providing advice and guidance on the above and any other technical issues as required.  You will support the Council on its business partnering and financial improvement journey.  Working with partner organisations to support process improvements and deputise for the D.151 Officer as required.
