Company
Manchester City Council as part of Greater Manchester Combined Authority is at the forefront of public service reform, fundamentally reconfiguring the way public services are delivered to improve outcomes for residents and reduce dependency. This will be delivered by building on the accepted principles of public service reform using evidenced based interventions, integrated, co-ordinated and sequenced packages of care and a family based approach.
Given financial constraints, funding regimes and statutory responsibilities for public service organisations across Greater Manchester it is clear that the ambition will not be achieved with traditional budget and financial mechanisms and that a radically different approach will be required. In Manchester we are looking for a public service reform finance lead to work across partners, particularly health, to develop sustainable financial models and plans to support investment in newly reconfigured public services.
