Interim Financial Accountant - Housing

Ambient People is working with a local authority to recruit an interim Financial Accountant to provide additional capacity during a busy year-end period. The role will be providing financial accounting support to the council’s housing entities as well as preparing reports for their Boards.

You will need to be proactive as this will be a stand alone role, using your attention to detail to ensure that forecasts and reports are completed accurately. This position requires a qualified or part-qualified Financial Accountant with previous experience preparing financial statements. Ideally with experience from a housing association or local government would be beneficial but not essential.
