Interim Capital Accountant

Ambient People is working with a local authority to recruit an interim Capital Accountant. Given the time of year, key to this role will be strong capital closedown experience, supporting them with multiple year accounts. There is also an opportunity to support with capital elements of their system implementation.

You will need to hit the ground running so demonstrable capital accounting experience with a local authority is a must, especially on closedown. As well as the technical knowledge, you will need strong communication skills to work with the rest of the capital team in meeting potentially challenging deadlines. Oracle Fusion experience would be a bonus.

The council are flexible and happy for this role to be performed either in the office, remotely or a hybrid of the two.
