Senior Finance Business Partner

Grade I £51,252 - £58,194

An exciting opportunity has arisen as a Senior Finance Business Partner.  You will work alongside another Senior Finance Business Partner and be responsible for providing strategic finance support to the organisation, underpinning the delivery of force goals by taking a lead on supporting the organisation in the prioritisation of resources, implementation of strategies policies and programmes. 

Each Senior Finance Business Partner is aligned to a number of commands in line with Executive portfolios and is responsible for leading the development of the strategic budget setting as well as quarterly revenue and capital budget monitoring processes for identified commands.

As well as this, you’ll provide outstanding leadership and support to the team aligned to you (Finance Business Partners, Finance Officers, Partnership & Income Manager) and be a member of the Finance department Senior Leadership Team.

You will be confident at providing financial advice and guidance to organisations in order to support the delivery of the best possible service within the resources available.  You will be involved in completing business cases and financial modelling as well as being responsible for determining average unit costs to improve operational resource accountability.
