Your New Role:

Our client – Local Government – is looking for an experienced Head of Finance to come in and assist with the other heads of service and provide structure to the social care teams.

Your Experience / Skills

• Local Government experience is preferred Experience of working within Adults and Children’s social care functions When needed, able to represent/cover for the individual services when service Heads are not available, particularly on specific work streams. Financial budgeting and forecasting processes, including the coordination of the Medium-term financial and investment planning process for the designated services. Managing the day-to-day financial operations by working closely with the relevant Director and his/her team. Preparation of financial reports for senior management, programme Boards and others. Work collaboratively with other members of the Finance team to analyse, collate and validate data, ensuring effective communication of information to Central finance teams and senior management in a proactive manner.
