You will lead the Financial Accountancy Team, with responsibility for a wide range of financial duties, including treasury management, the capital programme, forecasting and monitoring business rates and external funding, VAT, insurance, sundry debtors and miscellaneous income. You will also be providing advice and information to Members and Officers with differing levels of financial knowledge, so the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing is important. You will be CCAB qualified (preferably CIPFA).
