Role: Senior Technical Accountant

Rate: Up to £600 per day

Sector: Public Sector

Contract Length: 3 months contract (very likely extended)

Our client within the Public sector is looking to hire an experience senior technical accountant to come and assist within their team.

Role Details:

• Prepare the annual Statement of Accounts. Take on a key role in the development and monitoring of accounts closure processes, including leading on accounting for non-current assets and asset valuations, PFI and leasing. To Laise with internal and external auditors including responding to queries and implementing agreed recommendations.

• Generally supporting the corporate finance section with reporting, completing the WGA, CIPFA checklists, PFI model reports, and in areas where the team requires extra support to ensure tasks are completed effectively, efficiently, and accurately to deadline.

Experience/Qualifications

• Experience on working on the closing of accounts Ideally fully qualified accountant
