It is an exciting, yet challenging time to work in local government finance particularly in adult social care, given the upcoming reforms and the developing relationships with our health partners.
North Somerset Council prides itself on being an efficient, well-run council and we recognise that good financial management is as important as it has ever been.
We are looking to recruit an ambitious and adaptable person like you, to join our innovative, forward thinking financial management team. Alongside being a strong technical individual, we are looking for applicants with excellent people, presentation and communication skills and an aptitude to embrace and influence change. Apply now to join a proud group of like-minded professionals, who are dedicated to providing quality support services.
To support the Finance Business Partner, we are looking for an ambitious, self-motivated, qualified management accountant to provide financial support, analysis, and advice in relation to Adult Social Services.
Whilst it is essential that the successful candidate has well-developed technical accountancy and analytical skills, it is equally important that they can demonstrate “business partnering” skills. We invite applications from candidates who are passionate about the front-line services they support, keen to understand the business models that underpin services and can build effective relationships.
It will be a significant advantage for candidates to have knowledge and experience of working with Adult Social Care.
As well as the salary, there are other attractive benefits such as access to the Local Government Pension Scheme, a competitive annual leave provision and flexible and hybrid working arrangements.
For an informal discussion, call Katherine Sokol, Finance Business Partner (Adults and Children) on 07584 607 220.
