Interim School Finance Manager

CIPFA-Penna are partnering a South-East based educational organisation to support in the recruitment of an Interim Finance Manager / Head of Finance. The role is offered on an interim basis for an initial period of 6 months.

Managing a small finance team and acting as a Head of Finance for a large secondary school, the successful candidate will manage all financial and reporting processes, prepare monthly management accounts and reports, process year-end and month-end and prepare for audit. You will work closely with the school business manager in ensuring that process improvements are implemented and interested parties have accurate, high-quality, timely and insightful reports and management information to aid improved decision-making.

Ideally, they’re looking for a qualified accountant (CIPFA, ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with previous experience of a finance role within a schools / MAT or educational environment.
