The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew is a world famous organisation, internationally respected for its outstanding living collection of plants and world-class herbarium as well as its scientific expertise in plant diversity, conservation and sustainable development.
Allen Lane are proud to be partnering with Kew Gardens in their recruitment for a Senior Management Accountant to join the organisation in an exciting period of change. The post will work closely with the Head of Project Fund and Accounting and will be a key interface to senior stakeholders such as the Scientist behind the key Kew Scientific projects
This is a key role and you will be required to:
- Supporting the financial planning team in the annual budgeting cycle including variance and cost centre analysis.
- The timely production of accurate monthly management accounts and disseminated to all budget holders;
- Business partner key stakeholders to support decision making.
- Providing clear reporting and analysis.
The successful candidate will likely be studying towards a professional accounting qualification or qualified finance professional (ACA,ACCA,CIMA or CIPFA) from the Commercial or Not for profit sector. You will have previous experience of working within a Management Accountant role with a positive track record and good Excel Skills. This role would be a great fit for a candidate who is ambitious and looking to add direct value to the organisation.
