The role
Do you feel that you have the drive, determination and personality to become a successful Recovery Officer? 

The City Council is committed to delivering excellent public service. In order to achieve this we need to collect Council Tax, Business Rates and Housing Benefit overpayments to pay for the delivery of our services. We are looking for people who are hardworking, flexible, with great customer service and negotiation skills to join our vibrant and successful team.

The job will involve collecting monies owed, court attendance, payment plan negotiations, referring suitable debtors to Advice Centres, taking recovery action where a plan cannot be agreed and identifying suitable cases for legal enforcement or write-off.
