A Local Authority are currently going through a major period of turnaround/change and with the current post holder leaving at the end of June they have an urgent need for an Interim Chief Accountant
You need to have a proven track record of leading on closure of the accounts as well managing the following areas
- Treasury
- Tax
- Capital programme and capital accounting
- HRA accounting
This is a role that requires someone who has a track record of working with an authority during turnaround and to be able to work in a fast paced, and sometimes challenging political environment
