We have recently been instructed on an interim role for a Finance Business Partner to provide insightful strategic, financial & operational support to the Education directorate of a London Borough Council.

The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate excellent knowledge and experience of providing strategic and financial support to an Education service area within another local authority environment and be comfortable in challenging and building relationships with Directors, Heads of Service, Members, Governors and School Business Managers across an entire organisation. Handling sometimes sensitive and challenging strategic objectives, the individual will work closely with the Director of Education Services and additionally spearhead and implement necessary improvements.

This is an exciting and varied role that will afford the successful applicant with a genuine opportunity to provide value-adding business partnering across a diverse area, subsequently having the chance to make a measurable impact on the success of this operation in a large and respected authority.
