Are you an articulate, experienced finance professional who can flourish in a large, complex organisation and who is credible in front of senior officers and elected officials?  Would you relish the opportunity of being involved in managing the investment and funding risks within the City of London Corporation Pension Fund?

If so, an exciting new opportunity has arisen within the Corporate Treasury team of the Chamberlain’s (Finance) Department.

Reporting to the Group Accountant (Treasury & Investments) the successful applicant will   provide high quality financial reporting and advice around the City of London Corporation’s Pension Fund, taking charge of the fund accounts and Annual Report.  You will work with senior officers to secure sound management of the funding and investment risks inherent in the Fund, and you will work with our key advisors, fund managers and the London Collective Investment Vehicle (LCIV) to ensure effective implementation of the Fund’s investment and funding strategies and in meeting our ambitious Climate Action Strategy targets.

Ideally you will be a fully qualified accountant, with a sound knowledge of the key issues facing the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS), and will be able to provide clear professional advice to senior officers and Members.
