CIPFA Penna are delighted to be working with a local authority client recruit for an interim HRA Finance Business Partner. 

The successful candidate will have an excellent track record and consistent achievement at a professional level as they will be required to provide accurate and timely financial advice and information to support the annual accountancy cycle (including medium term financial planning, annual budget setting for 2023/24, monthly budget monitoring and year end) and key projects for the Housing & Communities Directorate in order to contribute towards achieving our corporate priorities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for bringing forward a comprehensive suite of tailored financial products to allow informed decision making. They will provide essential support and assurance to the Management Accounting & Reporting Lead, Lead Finance Business Partner / Deputy s151 Officer and the Director of Housing & Communities on the quality of financial information used for reporting and supporting business operational decisions. They will also be involved in supporting the HRA 30-Year Business Plan and the transition to the new Unitary Authority.
