An opportunity has arisen within the Council’s Finance Team for a Finance Manager to provide a comprehensive professional accountancy service that fulfills the Council’s statutory, corporate and operational requirements.

In order to fulfil this demanding role, you will be a full member of a professional
accountancy body with substantive knowledge of local government finance and
professional accounting requirements, an effective communicator and driven to
achieve challenging objectives. You will deputise for the Head of Finance in their Section 151 duties for the Council and ideally have experience of managing staff.
