Our first academy, Birmingham Ormiston Academy has been open ten years and is one of the most successful state-funded academies in the country. Our ambitions for our other academies are no different.   Our second Academy, BOA Stage and Screen (16 - 19) opened at the start of this academic year and our next academy, BOA Digital (11 – 19), opens in September 2022.  

As Chief Operating Officer, you will be a key member of the Trust’s strategic and operational leadership team.  You will lead and shape our central services as we develop and grow as a Trust working across finance, estates, IT, HR and health & safety.  

You will be a qualified accountant, with a successful track record of leading corporate services.  You will be a strategic thinker but also a good operational leader with a clear vision of what high quality central services look like. You may be working within an Academy or MAT environment currently. Alternatively, you may be working outside the sector as we recognise that the skills and expertise we need are transferable. Of more importance will be your ability to influence and lead with well-developed communication skills and emotional intelligence.
