The Code of Practice on the English language requirement for public sector workers, Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 requires that Councils ensure that all candidates applying for customer facing posts must be assessed in order to establish their fluency in English.

We are looking for two highly motivated individuals to join our Finance Team.  WYPF is one of the UK’s largest public sector pension schemes known nationally for providing quality services and utilising best practice and has consistently won national awards, such as Pensions Age Awards – Administration Provider of the Year and European Pensions Awards – Pensions Administration Awards.

WYPF looks after over 495,000 members of the Local Government and Fire Pension Schemes and pays the pensions of 150,000 pensioners every month and we are part of the Northern LGPS Pool.

WYPF is administered by City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, with investment portfolio of over £17 billion, all investments are managed by internal managers, directly employed by WYPF.  WYPF have a number of opportunities available in different teams mainly around core financial services and investment accounting teams.  The finance and investment administration teams are focused on provision of accurate insightful financial and management accounting reports by cultivating strong and effective collaborative business partnering.

We are looking for those want to train and become qualified accountants from both the public and private sector, who enjoy adding value to operations in and outside of finance, with an eye for detail.
