PSPS are a high performing Local Authority Trading Company (LatCo) providing back officer support services to the three Lincolnshire Local Authorities that now form the South East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership (Boston Borough Council, East Lindsey District Council and South Holland District Council).

 

Following the creation of the partnership, PSPS are looking for motivated and ambitious finance professionals with relevant skills and experience to lead our Business Partner teams who support the end to budget management process for one of our Local Authority Clients.

 

Supporting the Deputy Chief Finance Officer, this is a chance to help redevelop and shape the financial support provided to our client councils as we respond to the exciting challenges that are presented by the partnership’s formation.

You will manage and support the Business Partner Team in the preparation of the annual revenue and capital budgets, monitoring of financial performance and completion of the final accounts.  You will coordinate and support the financial management of designated service areas and ensure they receive quality financial advice and information.

 

You should be a CCAB qualified accountant and ideally have experience of local government finance.  You will possess the ability to lead and motivate a team as well as manage workloads within tight timescales.

PSPS are currently looking at ways to provide a more agile working environment following the national response to the COVID-19 pandemic with a view to moving to a Hybrid working environment.  Upon successful implementation of our Hybrid working policy relevant staff will only be required to attend the office for 50% of their working time, flexing when necessary to meet increased demand but also to ensure we retain the collaborative approach our clients need as and when required.

This role is Grade 9 (£40,130- £44,859) with a £2000 market supplement for 2 years.
