Exciting opportunities are available at West Northamptonshire Council for two qualified professionals to join us as Senior Finance Business Partners in the Accountancy Division.

In return you will be a CCAB or equivalent qualified accountant with previous experience of financial accounting along with thorough knowledge of relevant current legislation and professional codes of practice. You will be a confident problem solver with strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills, and you will be able to work effectively with colleagues and auditors to deliver good quality information to fixed deadlines.

Reporting to the Strategic Finance Business Partner, you will manage one of our Technical Services teams and will play a key role in developing our service and embedding good practice across the organisation in delivering our technical accounting services. You'll ensure proper procedure and best practice are followed, and will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, as well as working with councillors and auditors.
