We are looking for a talented individual to join our excellent Finance Team as a Finance Project Analyst, on a fixed term contract of two years, to help support the successful delivery of the East Bank project. This will include working with colleagues both in finance and the East Bank project team (including Mace, LLDC’s Project Management Partner) to ensure that project-related income and expenditure is properly received/incurred. You will also help to ensure that robust financial monitoring processes and controls are maintained and to identify and lead on the resolution of any identified issues. In addition, the role will provide financial business partnering support for a range of other projects across the Development directorate, which include residential and large-scale infrastructure projects. You will support on the production of timely and informative management accounting performance information that is used to update senior stakeholders regarding progress. 

Is it for you?

You will have strong analytical skills and be able to demonstrate how you can take the initiative to problem solve complex issues. You will also have a proven track record of working independently and as part of a team to deliver high standard pieces of work under pressure and be able to demonstrate the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders in the business. You will bring your lived experience and understanding of the communities we serve, to ensure that public funds are utilised responsibly. We’d like you to have experience of working on large-scale projects but this is not essential. Given the nature of the work involved, you will be at least part AAT qualified (level 3) or studying towards CCAB/CIMA or equivalent professional accounting qualification (with at least one exam pass).
