They have a great opportunity for a Corporate Finance Manager to join their expanding team, key functions of this exciting role will involve leading the Corporate Finance Team to deliver the corporate and technical accounting functions and to develop and maintain the main financial management system. This will involve taking a lead on and managing all aspects of the accounts closure process including production, audit and then approval of the Council's annual statutory accounts.  You will also take the responsibility for the Treasury Management function including management of the Council’s cashflow. The post holder will directly manage a number of high profile or complex budgets, including the Collection Fund.

To be successful in the role you will have a full CCAB qualification and have relevant knowledge and experience in a similar finance or accountancy role, preferably from within the public sector or local government.  Experience of staff management and a demonstrable record of delivering both businesses as usual, ad hoc project, as well as a proven ability to lead transformation activity and manage organisational change and development within a financial/performance environment.
