Interim Finance Manager - Children's Services & Social Care

CIPFA-Penna are working in partnership with a London-based local authority in search of an Interim Finance Manager to support their Children’s Services & Social Care directorate.

Working closely with the Head of Finance for Social Care and managing a small team, the successful candidate will support budget managers through the current budget setting process, train the team and budget managers on more efficient use of new and existing reporting and budgeting systems and exploit opportunities to develop / improve existing reporting frameworks.

We’re looking for qualified finance professionals (CIPFA or equivalent) and experienced managers within local government finance, ideally with previous experience of providing value-adding financial support to the social care directorate (children’s preferably) in another local authority organisation.
