This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated finance professional.  Part of a small team you will be responsible for all aspects of financial services relating to capital expenditure & financing and treasury management & banking activities.

This is an important post within the central accountancy team and will involve working closely with the Head of Corporate Finance & Accounting and Director of Finance.

We are seeking a CCAB qualified Accountant or an AAT Accountant with extensive knowledge and experience in Local Government finance.  You will have an in-depth knowledge of statutory financial reporting requirements and financial regulations combined with proven experience of local authority accounting.   

This is an excellent opportunity to play a significant role in assuring continuous improvement across the finance division
