Allen Lane are currently working with a local authority to recruit an interim Accountant to provide support within finance to their Schools department. As such the key responsibilities will include the following;
- Monthly budget monitoring for both the general fund and the DSG
- Annual budget setting process, and closedown
- Budget and cash management instigation and oversight for organisations entitled to Early Years funding
The successful candidate will be ideally be CCAB qualified and have previous experience in a similar local authority setting. An understanding of DSG rules and regulations is highly desirable as you will need to interpret and explain to non-finance staff.
