Do you have a full AAT / part CCAB qualification and want to join a busy finance team within an all-round accounts post?

Reporting to an Accountant, we are seeking 2 strong Accounting Technicians to cover an array of areas within accountancy. You can expect a variety of tasks and duties, covering the likes of reconciliation work, budget monitoring, annual accounts and costing.

You will thrive in supporting the departments by providing sound financial advice and through the provision of training.  You will ensure the financial integrity of the organisation is maintained through your work.

We are seeking the successful post holder to work a 37-hour week. Working hours are typically daytime, Monday to Friday. 

Interviews will commence as soon as possible in line with completed applications. 

Your role

You will prepare consolidated budgets, budget monitoring and account information, as well as undertake reconciliation work where necessary. By assisting cost centre managers, you will also be involved with the monitoring of revenue and capital budgets, leading to the statement of accounts preparation.

You will assist in the preparation of grant claims, complete statistical returns and maintain all financial records. You can also expect to assist with costings, revenue and capital budgets, and outturn forecasts, along with supporting the statement of accounts preparation.
