Finance Manager – Financial Accounting
Salary: £48,749 to £52,811 + £2,000 market supplement

Your role will be to deliver a comprehensive accountancy service that meets all of our statutory, corporate and operational needs. You’ll oversee proper procedure and best practice for financial accounting, capital accounting and treasury management, and work closely with colleagues across senior management. On a day-to-day basis, you’ll make complex decisions related to all aspects of technical accounting and cashflow management – as well as contributing to the strategic development of our service.
It’s a role that will call on your people skills as much as your finance experience. With a good understanding of local government financial regulations, you’ll be a great communicator with the confidence to brief and advise senior managers. You’ll also need experience of developing and implementing financial solutions at an operational level and delivering change.
