Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service is seeking to recruit a highly motivated professional with a background of working within a finance department.

The team is dedicated and caring, constantly striving for improvement and are passionate about moving the finance team forward. The successful candidate will provide support to the Assistant Head of Finance and assist in the provision of a comprehensive range of financial services including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, creditors, debtors, treasury management and financial advice.

The role includes writing financial reports for Finance and Resources Committee and work jointly on capital collaborative projects.

It is an essential requirement for the post-holder to have experience of working in an accounting and finance role.  The role requires the extensive use of information technology so the post-holder will also be skilled at using financial information systems and Microsoft Excel to an advanced level.
