NatureScot is the Lead Partner for the 2014 – 2020 European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) programme of Green Infrastructure (GI) projects across Scotland, and Natural and Cultural Heritage Fund (NCHF) projects across the Highlands and Islands. The GI programme delivers biodiversity enhancement, climate adaptation and other nature-based benefits at a scale that demonstrates the impact of GI to communities and stakeholders in our urban areas; and the NCHF programme delivers nature-based tourism projects which provide social and economic benefits to remote areas around the Highlands & Islands.

In support of this project, NatureScot is recruiting a Finance and Audit Manager, with a relevant qualification or experience, who will work together with the GI and the NCHF Delivery Managers to deliver the project on behalf of NatureScot. These posts are supported by ERDF.

Whether working at home or in an office, or travelling to meetings and site visits, as a NatureScot employee, you will contribute to our Net Zero plan, for example through positive carbon travel choices.

About NatureScot

We are Scotland’s nature agency. Scotland’s nature and landscapes are among our greatest assets. We work to improve our natural environment in Scotland and inspire everyone to care more about it, so that all nature in Scotland – our key habitats and landscapes, all our green space and our native species – is maintained, enhanced, and brings us benefits. It is the job of all of us to achieve a balance in the sensitive management of our natural world in order to maintain and enhance biodiversity.
