WYPF looks after over 495,000 members of the Local Government and Fire Pension Schemes and pays the pensions of 150,000 pensioners every month and we are part of the Northern LGPS Pool.

WYPF is administered by City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, with investment portfolio of over £16 billion, all investments are managed by internal managers, directly employed by WYPF. WYPF have a number of opportunities available in different teams mainly around core financial services and investment accounting teams. The finance and investment administration teams are focused on provision of accurate insightful financial and management accounting reports by cultivating strong and effective collaborative business partnering.

We are looking for trainee and qualified accountants from both the public and private sector, who enjoy adding value to operations in and outside of finance, with an eye for detail. You will need to have a strong background in technical accounting, financial reporting, transactional processes, continuous improvement activities and able to work in a fast paced evolving environment. We support all CCAB qualifications for the two manager roles CIPFA / ACA / ACCA /CIMA.
