A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join St Helens & Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust as the Technical Accountant.
The post-holder will have a key role in statutory reporting and financial audits.
Other primary purposes are to develop and enact policies, systems, models and processes in Financial Services, to take a strategic and analytical approach towards transactions including aged debts and debt management, and to contribute significantly to the Trust’s existing capital planning / reporting processes.
We are especially interested in candidates with extremely strong technical skills, with significant financial accounting, modelling, and system improvement talents. An unswerving focus on quality outputs is key.
NHS experience is not essential, and anyone with a talent for financial accounting and/or statutory audit experience will be suited to this role. We can offer a good deal of flexibility for the right candidate.
If you are looking to move into the NHS, and join a team with an excellent culture and which is highly regarded for supporting staff, then this is the role for you.
