Allen Lane have partnered with Barts Health NHS Trust in support of their appointment of a Financial Planning Manager.  This is a newly created role which will support the Head of Finance - Strategic Planning, and will be responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of the long-term financial strategy, financial model, and business planning cycle including supporting the development of efficiency and transformation programmes and strategic developments. 

This is a unique career opportunity for someone to join the Trust in a period of growth and positive change.  The successful candidate will collaborate with finance, operational and clinical colleagues in support of the development of the longer term Group strategy and play a key role in developing and progressing business cases and supporting the wider Strategic Planning team.  This role will provide an excellent platform for an ambitious and talented individual who wants to make a real impact. 

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and will operate well as part of a diverse team.  We are looking for a candidate who wants to develop their career within a high performing and challenging organisation.  You will be a professionally qualified accountant (or part-qualified), with good experience of using Excel and be confident in your ability to use and develop financial models.  It is desirable to have NHS experience, although we are open to candidates from other sectors if they can demonstrate their understanding of the NHS and where they believe they can add value.
