This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated finance professional.  Part of a small team you will be responsible for all aspects of financial services relating to capital expenditure and financing, treasury management activities and pension fund accounting and reporting.

This is an important post within the central accountancy team and will involve working closely with the Head of Corporate Finance & Accounting and Director of Finance.

We are seeking a CCAB qualified accountant or an AAT Accountant with extensive knowledge and experience in Local Government finance. You will have an in-depth knowledge of statutory financial reporting requirements and financial regulations combined with proven experience of local authority accounting.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a significant role in assuring continuous improvement across the finance division.
