Interim Treasury Manager
Allen Lane are currently working with a local authority to recruit a Treasury Manager who will use their expertise in this area to make service improvements and shape the future of the Treasury function within the organisation. The successful candidate will review current processes, structures and controls and use their knowledge and previous experience to define best practice within the team going forwards.
As such key objectives will include;
- Leading and motivating the treasury management team to ensure its effectiveness and outcomes are of the highest quality
- Coordinate the work of the treasury management function to ensure it enables managers and staff to achieve the council’s objectives
- Review current ways of working within the treasury function and implement improvements to enhance its effectiveness
CCAB qualified (or equivalent), you will need to have an excellent technical knowledge and understanding of Treasury Management. Alongside this, strong communication skills will be required as the position also includes a large change and service improvement element. Demonstrable experience within a local government setting would be highly desirable.
